I say to you this Independence Day; My word has come to you many times. I have given you many words of preparation. My written word says,
“Do not call to mind the former things or ponder things of the past. Behold, I will do something new. Now it will spring forth. Will you not be aware of it? I will even make a roadway in the wilderness, rivers in the desert. The people, whom I formed for Myself, will declare My praise.” Isaiah 43:18, 19, 21 Do not look at who you are or from where you have come. If you look for Me in the ways I have come in the past, you will miss Me. I am calling you for many things. Your way has been hard and difficult, yet, I am doing a new thing, not only in the earth, but also in you My people. My people will declare My praise by who they are. I am doing a new thing in you. I am dealing with you differently. I am preparing you for My purposes. My word has come, calling you to listen to the still, small voice deep within – My Spirit. Do not discount My words because they seem foreign, strange, or even foolish by your standards. Remember your ways are not My ways. I say to you learn to hear My voice. Learn to abide in Me. I have placed My Spirit deep within you. Trust Me listen to My voice. Walk by My Spirit, not by the natural eye or ear, but by My Spirit. I am going to do a new thing in you and in the earth. I have not called you for your own pleasure, but for My service, My will, and My purpose. I have bought you with My Son’s precious blood. Don’t you know the price I gave? I gave all I had. You are precious in My sight. You are My people. I poured out My Son so I could receive you as sons. I gave all I had to give, that I might raise up many sons, who by My decree are seated in heavenly places on My throne, ruling and reigning with My Son, Jesus. I have loved you. I have called you. I have drawn you unto Myself, for My own in the earth. The earth is mine and all it contains. I have given it as your inheritance over which you are to rule and reign. I have called you to My altar many times desiring your unbelief as a sacrifice. Many times, you came; many times, you turned and walked away with empty hands. I have said unto you there is coming a day, a day when I cause you to come away from My presence with a sword in your hands. I desire you to swing that sword by the power and direction of My Spirit; not by might, but by My Spirit, as My Spirit directs to the right and as My Spirit directs to the left, you are to move only by My Spirit. For the day will come that I will call My church from their slumber and say, I have called you for war. Be prepared for the day will come and I will call. You have lived in the land of your inheritance for years, making peace with yourselves and with My enemies. I say to you on this Independence Day, declare war on My enemies. Let My people go, bring release to the captive, bind up the brokenhearted. Your land has become a stench unto Me. There are those who have stood in the gap and stayed My hand. Yet, I say unto this day, I am pouring out My Spirit in a new and mighty way. My sword is to be lifted up in war against My enemies. My Church, My people have been silent to long in their own land. Your country stands for freedom, liberty, and justice. Today you celebrate. Today, I say there is no freedom, no liberty or justice outside of My will. My will is for My church to rise up and by My power go to war against My enemies, so the earth can know who I AM. By your silence, you have given your approval. I have not given My approval, or My blessing. Why have you, My people, My church become silent in your land? You are My voice and I say to you, “Rise, rise up with My sword. Declare war on My enemies. Rule and reign in the land I have given you for your inheritance. Bring glory and honor to My name.” This word was from a praise gathering picnic, July 4, 1986 for area churches in LaGrange, GA.

"Lift your vision higher and see the Lord.” This line from this song keeps playing repeatedly in my head.
We are in the days of choosing to lift our vision higher to a place where we have never seen the Lord before. We are going to see Him in the areas where we have not allowed Him to be Lord. We are learning to see the Lord within situations where in times past we have been unable to trust. As we choose to lift our vision in worship, we begin to see Him in new ways. It is by His grace we are moved from one place of faith and trust to another. We are being prepared for a life-style of worship. He is faithful to show us the high places within our hearts – those places where we do not trust – the places where we have erected altars to other things (gods). Remember not the former things, nor consider the things of old. Behold, I am doing a new thing; now it springs forth, do you not perceive it? I will make a way in the wilderness and rivers in the desert. The wild beasts will honor me, the jackals and the ostriches; for I give water in the wilderness, rivers in the desert, to give drink to my chosen people, the people whom I formed for myself that they might declare my praise. Isaiah 43:20-21 Many of us are in a place of choosing not to look back and not to seek Him in the ways that are familiar to us. We are to move in faith – reaching beyond the past limits of our own experiences; choosing to move to the next level of grace. It will be easy to become comfortable and not keep moving in faith to a higher place of trust. If we are seeking Him in the former things, we will not be looking for the new things. We are to make decisions; choose to move in His new mercies every day. The enemy seeks to broadside us in plain sight while we watch, causing us to be pushed off course and lose our focus. We will be so stunned by the action we do not realize what is happening, but we will watch while thinking – what is going on? Why is this happening? The enemy is seeking to have us return to the familiar or to places where we feel confident or comfortable. The Lord wants us to move forward into new requirements – into increasing levels of faith. God does not call us to do something because we have ability. His call is a test of our response to that which we do not understand. He is looking at our heart; we are looking on the outward appearance and asking how we could possibly make this situation work? Our focus is to remain on the Lord and not to look back. For I am sure that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor things present, nor things to come, nor powers, nor height, nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God in Christ Jesus our Lord. Romans 8:38-39 The things separating us from the love of God are those things from the past or those things, which have become familiar to us. We become so comfortable wrapped in loyalty that we continue to look back. We are to choose to lift our vision higher and see the Lord in a new way, which is beyond our experience and our thinking. Seek the Lord, the creator, with a new mind set. When we seek with the old or the familiar, we will not see the new. When we lift our vision higher, we see the Lord in ways that the limits of our past have placed blinders on us. We are not to look back to the way it was, the good times, or when He came through for us or we look to previous experiences in God for answers, for He is doing a new thing. We are to remember the things of old, but not to look to them. We are not to dwell on those things. We are to follow the Holy Spirit, with a longing for the higher vision. Many of us are faced with a choice between that, which looks like it is something God has done in the past, or to choose to go forward with what He is saying now, even when we cannot see what is on the other side – we are to go a way we have never been before. But Jesus said to him, “Follow me, and leave the dead to bury their own dead.” And when he got into the boat, his disciples followed him. And behold, there arose a great storm on the sea, so that the boat was being swamped by the waves; but he was asleep. And they went and woke him, saying, “Save, Lord; we are perishing.” And he said to them, “Why are you afraid, O men of little faith?” Then he rose and rebuked the winds and the sea; and there was a great calm. Matt 8:22-26 Jesus said to follow him as they were going to the other side. We are not to question the circumstance or what appears to be, but through faith continue to move forward with what the Lord has spoken. As we move on the power of His spoken word, He will arrange the situations and circumstance to come into alignment with what He is doing. His word to us is tested, so we have the opportunity to see the areas where need to lift our vision and see the Lord. It is on the other side of the storms. We will see how we have been moved from one level of faith to another. Peter walked on the promise of the word “come” which enabled him to walk on the water. As long as he kept his vision focused on the Lord, he walked without sinking. Vision begins with a large sailboat, could possibly be ocean going with the right crew and balance. The boat was underway, listing heavily to one side. The sea is moving with a light chop. The wind is steady not gusting.
As my perspective broadened, it became obvious the boat was making a large arc. The people involved were excited as they were moving, but in reality, they were moving in a large circle already approaching territory they had previously covered. Dark clouds appeared on the horizon, which seemingly went unnoticed, nor was the out-of-balance position or direction of travel. The scene shifted in the vision and I saw a large ocean-going passenger vessel loaded with people. It was well underway, going in a straight course through heavy seas not affecting the course. The scene switched and I was observing a train that was moving forward, but as I looked closer, it wasn’t running on tracks. This train was not an old-fashioned steam engine, but was diesel powered. The train had very quietly derailed and was running alongside, parallel to the tracks, but at the same time, moving further and further away from the tracks. No one seemed to be aware the train was off the track. There were very few cars, as many had left and seemed stalled off to the side, but because there was some movement, there was no concern. There was an air of pride or superiority about the train as it was advancing. The people thought the rough going was because they were making a way, pioneering, yet the Lord was the one who laid the original track. From my position, I could see there was a crash with destruction ahead unless changes are implemented. I saw a sleek high-powered bullet train go by as if this train was standing still. The ocean going ship and the bullet train represent those who have/are going through many changes, adjustments, and corrections in order to move into the future things of the Spirit. During a time of worship in a vision I saw people begin to step into a river to frolic and play. As the water grew deeper and deeper, it began to leap and dance with great power and force. I looked to the direction from where the water flowed and saw a huge waterfall like Niagara Falls. The people who were in the river began to move closer and closer to the falls. They continued to frolic in the water as the power and intensity grew.
The scene changed and I saw people standing in a place where everything seemed dry. It was dusty and everything was the same in color, tan to brown, everything was still. There was no movement and I didn’t see anything that was green. I then saw a flood of water coming. Many people were standing as the water rolled by, but there were others tossed about, struggling against the flood. The people who were standing were not moved by the water and were able to remain standing no matter how deep the water became. There were houses, cars, buildings and all kinds of things swept away in the flood. The water and the stuff were moving, but not the people and the ones struggling were not gaining anything from their efforts. The people who were struggling in the water were overwhelmed, frightened, reaching and grasping for something to hold onto. I saw the water from the perspective of the people who were standing and it was clear, cool, and refreshing. The people that were struggling in the water were unable to see, as if blind. The people who were standing began to reach out and pull the struggling people to safety, helping them until they had the ability to stand. There is coming a great outpouring of the Word of the Lord with many signs and wonders. This flood will not move those who have been renewed, but having done all will stand on the solid rock, Jesus, being refreshed. Those rooted in Him will be in position to rescue those who are swept up on this flood. Many who have a form of godliness will be over-whelmed by this outpouring and become caught up in survival rather than being used in the harvest. The church will come to a new awareness of the power of the Word to save those who are perishing and begin to realize we have the power to speak forth life to the lost, saving them from what is to come. Many things will be swept away or no longer be of importance in the mighty move of the Spirit that is coming. Many will see all the things they have placed their trust or security in swept away as the truth of His Word is proclaimed. The church will begin to move in the power and demonstration of God’s love and mercy towards those who are lost. We will have a new compassion, a mandate to enable those who are struggling to come to see the truth so they may stand. Everyone then who hears these words of mine and does them will be like a wise man who built his house upon the rock; and the rain fell, and the floods came, and the winds blew and beat upon that house, but it did not fall, because it had been founded on the rock. And every one who hears these words of mine and does not do them will be like a foolish man who built his house upon the sand; and the rain fell, and the floods came, and the winds blew and beat against that house, and it fell; and great was the fall of it. Matthew 7:24-27 And even if our gospel is veiled, it is veiled only to those who are perishing. In their case, the god of this world has blinded the minds of the unbelievers, to keep them from seeing the light of the gospel of the glory of Christ, who is the likeness of God. II Corinthians 4:4 But you, beloved, build yourselves up on your most holy faith; pray in the Holy Spirit; keep yourselves in the love of God; wait for the mercy of our Lord Jesus Christ unto eternal life. And convince some, who doubt; save some, by snatching them out of the fire; on some have mercy with fear, hating even the garment spotted by the flesh. Jude 1:20-23 uring worship, I saw a heart, as one would see in a medical book, hovering over the people. This heart was bright red in some areas, while at the same time a dull blue in other spots. I saw a picture of an illustration from a children’s book of the North Wind. It was a large blue ball of clouds with a face blowing a steady wind. It was as if the wind was blowing life into the heart. The wind was blowing from the east.
“Then He said to me, “Prophesy to the breath, prophesy, son of man, and say to the breath, “Thus says the Lord God, “Come from the four winds, O breath, and breathe on these slain, that they come to life. Ezekiel 37:9 The blood flow in some areas has been restricted and parts of the heart have atrophied due to oxygen starvation. In a weakened condition the blood isn’t circulating, as it should, leading to an inability to function fully or to perform certain activities. There is to be a focus on what the Lord is doing, not on circumstantial situations. We are to look to Jesus for our answer not circumstance. Verse 11 in explanation of Ezekiel’s vision, identifies the bones as the House of Israel and they are saying: “Our bones are dried up and our hope has perished. We are completely cut off. (Reference note says cut off to our selves) Hope deferred makes the heart sick. Proverbs 13:12 Breath in Ezekiel 37:9 can refer to rational beings expression and function and to make quick of understanding. Due to hopelessness, one could say we are going to follow our own plans according to the stubbornness of our own heart. I don’t have any hope that this … will happen so I’m going to do this… Jeremiah 18:12 Like an east wind, I will scatter them before the enemy. I will show them My back and not My face in the day of their calamity. Jeremiah 18: 1 If that nation against which I have spoken turns from its evil, I will relent concerning the calamity I planned to bring it. Jeremiah 18:8 The Government of God is coming to the church; the church will enter the place of true worship; seeing the Father in a face-to-face relationship, which will deal with issues of the heart. As God’s children come to an understanding of their own particular expression and function within the Body of Christ, the redeeming power of the Lord will freely flow. We will see the Salvation of the Lord and His Glory revealed. It is time to declare the Word of the Lord, the expression of who He is within each believer, so we may see the Lord as who He is revealed in our nation. I saw a cloud move over the people during worship. Intense light reflected within the cloud, as if it were bouncing. It was very bright – glowing. I saw lightning flashes and heard huge crashes of thunder.
The Lord wants to do a new thing, a change in the atmosphere, a shift in the Spirit. The Lord will go forth like a warrior, He will arouse His zeal like a man of war, He will utter a shout, yes, and He will raise a war cry. He will prevail against His enemies. Isaiah 42:13 The prophetic is released for not and is bringing restoration. The first restoration is the turning of our hearts toward the Father. We’re caught in the things of the Kingdom, the information of the Kingdom and missing the King of the Kingdom – His manifest evidence of righteousness, peace, and joy in our everyday lives. The Lord says the battle belongs to Him. We have tried to fight the battle with the things; the information the Lord has given, rather than letting Him fight the battles before us. Behold, I am going to send you Elijah the prophet before the coming of the great and terrible day of the Lord. And he will restore the hearts of the fathers to their children, and the hearts of the children to their fathers, lest I come and smite the land with a curse. Malachi 4: 5, 6 There are many curses, strongholds and stumbling blocks that we deal with every day because our hearts have not been turned in the right direction. We must assume the posture of a child with our Heavenly Father. A small child does not have to strive to get his father to do those things, which he needs or even desires. It is a father’s delight to give unto his children. Many of us have robbed our Heavenly Father of His delight, with our minds full of information and our hearts full of doubt. We have walked in a measure of boldness, but now is the time to go forward with bold aggression. We have been bold when faced with no other alternative. It is a time to become aggressive in seeking after the Father’s heart. His desire is for the establishing of His purpose and strategy for the revealing of the next level of His glory. We are to assume a violent posture towards the promises that are yet to be made reality in our lives. The Lord desires to do much in His church and in the earth, but we must first give Him as King the right to rule our whole lives, not just the pieces we are willing to give. And from the days of John, the Baptist until now the kingdom of heaven suffers violence and the violent men take it by force. For all the prophets and the Law prophesied until John. And if you care to accept it, he himself is Elijah, who was to come. He who has hears to hear, let him hear. Matthew 11: 12-15 O Lord my heart is not proud, nor my eyes haughty; nor do I involve myself in great matters, or in things too difficult for me. Surely, I have composed and quieted my soul; like a weaned child rests against his mother; my soul is like a weaned child with me. O Israel, hope in the Lord from this time forth and forever. Psalms 13:1 It is from this position – the stilled child at rest in the Father’s arms, that we will see the Lord’s desires, not only in us, but also in situations around us. He is concerned with every aspect of our lives. We tend to focus on whatever is in the forefront of our mind and miss the big picture. The Lord desires our eyes fixed on Him and it is from this position, He will do those things He has promised. I saw a very large deciduous tree with a strong, sturdy, deep root system. The tree was just before me, not planted – just there suspended in mid-air. What impressed me about the tree was that the root system appeared to be longer or larger than the visible part of the tree with no dirt clinging to the root system.
I saw the tree relocated to a place where the soil was freshly prepared, rich, black, and moist. The prepared hole was completed before the tree arrived. As the tree began to take root in its new location, the root system began to spread in all directions. For he shall be as a tree planted by the waters, and that spreadeth out her roots by the river, and shall not see when heat cometh, but her leaf shall be green; and shall not be careful in the year of drought, neither shall cease from yielding fruit. Jeremiah 17:8 Many have been in a place where it seemed it has been a season of intense pressure and heat. In this season, roots have gone down deep; there has been a building, a growing relationship with the Father causing the Fruits of the Spirit to blossom. It is a time of more than blossoming; it is the time for many to be moved, relocated, and transplanted to the place already prepared – where the fullness of the fruit will be made known. There has been an increased restlessness in this time of transition. Once in the place prepared, there will be a time of fruitfulness – for the harvest is ripe. Worry not about how you are going to live and pay the bills. Speak forth that which I have placed within your spirit with My mercy and My grace speaking those things that are not and you will see them come to be.
Be not afraid of their faces, but speak forth that which I show you for My redemptive purposes. You shrink back because you fear of lack of approval and acceptance. For you try to look one-way and fit within the space made for you by my creatures. Speak forth My truth and you shall see the Glory of My hand move. The breath of My Spirit life shall blow across your life. Take no thought for tomorrow for today is sufficient enough for you to come to the death of you and the newness of the life that I have desired to abide in you. You shall be holy, as I am holy. I shall have a holy people in the earth that I might be glorified. My choice is upon you for My glory. I was more than able to speak to Abraham, Isaac and Jacob – how much more am I able to speak in this day, Know I’ve chosen you to be my voice in the earth for My pleasure not for My need. I only do that which I do for My good pleasure and it is My good pleasure to use you. Also, know I have need of your relationship not your gifts, for I desire to see you face to face, to meet with you face to face. There is a gentle wind blowing across the Body of Christ and in each individual believer’s own personal relationship with the Lord. Many have turned back, because of the stirring of their circumstances, but this wind is causing all things that are not firmly rooted and grounded upon the foundation of Jesus Christ to be shaken. The purpose of this shaking is the removal of all things hindering the vision of Lord being revealed within us and through us. As we stand still and see the salvation of the Lord, we enter into the fullness of the promises He ordained for us. We are truly called for such a time as this. This is the day of salvation and as we stand in what we know to be true and faint not, we enter into the promises.
The Lord desires our whole heart. This present wind of His Spirit creates within us a clean heart and renewed right spirit. It is only with a clean heart and right spirit that we make an impact on the lives, situations, and circumstances around us. Many things are happening in the earth with the storms, earthquakes, abundant rains, flooding, and wars with different people groups. Many of us who are facing storms as the Wind of the Spirit has begun to blow against long-standing beliefs that are in direct opposition to the vision coming forth. The Lord, Himself is shaking our foundations to the core so all is becomes part of who we are; all that is not of Him will fall by the way side and be left behind as we continue to run with Him. He is accelerating the pace of our circumstances. The rains are the symbol of the outpouring of His grace to enable us to live in His abiding presence. As we abide in Him He comes and abides in us. He is removing the veil that has kept us from seeing the full light of His glory, His countenance and His presence. We have drawn back from His presence, because we have been aware of our own condition. In the light of His presence, all things will grow dim and He will be the only focus. The Lord is saying to draw near to His throne of grace and stand to see Him in the fullness of His salvation, which already dwells within us. We are to come boldly before His throne of grace; all hindrances grow dim in the sight of His ever-increasing presence. His glory will be manifested through us. It is not us, but His resurrection power manifested through His grace and mercy, which will draw all men to Him. He is the light of the world therefore; we are to be the light of the world. His glory will be revealed in us causing the lost to seek Him. As we continue to seek His heart, we will be led into those places where we see Him face to face and the light of His love guides us. We shall be holy because He is holy. We have authority, as He is all authority. We have His power as He is manifesting in us. It is He that is in us and not us that will shine forth in the storms. We are to rest in the gentle blowing wind, the breath of His Spirit and we will be hidden from the storms of this life. The law of the Lord is perfect, restoring the soul; the testimony of the Lord is sure, making wise the simple. The precepts of the Lord are right, rejoicing the heart. The commandment of the Lord is pure, enlightening the eyes. The fear of the Lord is clean enduring forever; the judgments of the Lord are pure; they are righteous altogether. They are more desirable than gold, yes than much fine gold; sweeter also than honey and the drippings of the honeycomb. Psalms 19:7-10
The Lord’s ways that are perfect – they are the producers of wisdom and restoration in our life. In this process, rejoicing takes place in our heart as He opens our eyes and allows us to see He is the one at work in us. In our relationship with Him, we see Him more and more as He says He is; our eyes open to new levels of righteousness. During this process, we begin to have understanding of how important it is for Him to open our eyes. When He opens the eyes of our spirit, we have vision. He is our vision, He opens our eyes – we see! It can be too easy to focus our on His vision for our life, our purpose, our calling, our gifting and miss seeing Him, who is our vision. It is possible to miss Him if we are focused on what rather than the who. In the year of King Uzziah’s death, I saw the Lord sitting on a throne, lofty and exalted, with the train of His robe filling the temple. Isaiah 6:1 Uzziah’s name means, my strength is Jehovah. It was in a time of death, old things passing away, that the Lord was seen high and lifted up. We come to a time when even knowing the Lord as our strength seems to die. It is that place where He opens our eyes and we see Him for who He really is. Not only do we have our eyes opened to Him; there is an opening of our eyes to our own condition and to the condition of those around us. In seeing Him as our vision we come to know Him; to be known by Him with a willingness t go and be all He wills. The Lord is always speaking in His still small voice; He always brings us back to Himself. Within the Lord’s purpose for our life, there is reward, but our focus is not on the reward, but on the Lord, Himself, our vision. We do not see ourselves as the Lord sees us; consequently, we presume and many times miss the way of the Lord for the time and season. It is only by allowing the Lord, Himself, not His vision or purpose for our life to be Lord, that we will stand blameless before Him. The Lord, Himself is the one who is making a way for us to be all He created and to fulfill His vision. When the Lord is the center of our life, the focus of our eye, He becomes our vision. When He is our vision, our words and our heart will be acceptable to Him. When the vision or purpose He has given becomes the center of our focus, we become driven, ruled by things and there is a way, which seems right. He is our vision and as we see Him as He is, we become one who is willing to go where He leads. Where there is no vision the people are unrestrained; but happy is he who keeps the law. Prov. 29:18 Where there is no vision, the people perish, but he that keepeth the law, happy is he. Prov. 29: 8 It is this vision of the Lord Himself that restrains us or keeps us from perishing. The revelation of who He is brings us to the place of willingness to walk in a way with Him that keeps His ways. We then become a demonstration of the Lord in the earth to those observing our life drawing men unto Him. We have tried to tell people of the vision He has given us, but we have not walked in a way, which has demonstrated He is who He says He is. Demonstrating His power will draw people to Him. It is time to show people the vision of who He is by the opening of blind eyes. If we do not have a clear picture of who He is or see Him high and exalted, becomes easy to live a life style of unrestraint or perish (come to nothing, ruined, destroyed, or passed away) in the days ahead. Walking in such a way demonstrating we are following divine instructions and the revealed will (law) of the Lord will bring the blessings of the Lord into lives. It is in the day to day, the ordinary in which people seek Him. The world will be drawn to those who are not perishing in the days ahead for they will be seeking to have life. The world will be seeking to know those who are walking in His peace, abundance, and blessings. Without vision, the people perish. He is our vision that which we see, our guiding light. He is the revelation of the Father; not something, He has revealed as specific purpose or plan for us to follow that will keep us from perishing. Following “a vision” will cause us to become so focused we may not see the Lord Himself in our day-to-day situations and circumstances. Everything we are, do, and say is to be weighed by the person of the Lord Himself because if measured by “a vision” there can be a way opened which seems right, but will eventually lead to our destruction. Our God is a God of restoration, continuously restoring us to Himself. He becomes the focus of our eye; our vision is revelation of a loving heavenly Father, the one who is high and lifted up becomes clear. A vision may be noble, and good; a blessing but if we allow the vision to become high and lifted up, we are serving an idol, which is the created rather than the creator. The Lord is calling us unto Himself to know His ways. He declares He is a jealous God and we are to have no other gods before us. It is time to see Him high and lifted up, exalted above all. We are to know and be known by Him. It is a season where it is no longer enough just to know the Lord, but it is also our destiny to be known by Him. Many will say to Me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? And in thy name have cast out devils? And in thy name done many wonderful works? And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from Me, ye that work iniquity. Matthew 7:22-23 |
