We will focus on the nine (9) functional gifts of the Spirit as referenced in I Corinthians 12, and how they are tools used to build the Body of Christ that move us towards maturity in Him. Paul says that you are to earnestly desire or seek after Spiritual Gifts, and that you might prophesy. Why? We will look at the guidelines Paul sets out in 1 Corinthians. Our God is a speaking God and the Holy Spirit is speaking continuously about what we are to be listening to, recognizing, and interpreting. Also, what we hear and have the ability to communicate, is important, so others can be built up, edified, and encouraged. Prophecy is speaking and releasing the heart and mind of the Lord, through faith to others. We will look at the Spirit of Prophecy, the Gift of Prophecy and Prophet, in their different roles and functions. Before the day is over, you will have received personal prophecy and give personal prophecy to others. One of the goals of this workshop series is to demystify Hearing the Voice of the Lord and Spiritual Gifts and see them in the context for which they were given, for the benefit of the Body of Christ.

This is a practical, how-to training session. You will learn how Words of Knowledge, Words of Wisdom, and Prophecy work in tandem. You will gain understanding of the dos and don'ts of prophetic Ministry. We will discuss honor among the gifted, guidelines and protocols for ministering in the prophetic. You will learn team etiquette, following directions, and gain a better understanding of how ministry authority works.
These workshops/training events are designed to lay a foundation and build on each other. They are practical, and you will be provided with a safe environment (where there are no wrongs, only better ways) to venture out and take risks, that you can, and ARE hearing the Lord’s voice. We learn best in a safe place, where given encouragement, we can ask questions, hear examples, have the topic demonstrated, and finally do it yourself. You will not only be encouraged for yourself but will have the opportunity to be someone’s encouragement. It is always amazing, the excitement and growth that is prompted when people are encouraged. Even if you have attended prophetic workshops in the past, every training event is different, depending on the heart of the Lord for that particular group, and you can never learn or know enough. This will be one of the best investments of your time, finances, efforts, and energies that you could ever make towards your future and destiny..
