He has plans

I woke up about 7:00 a.m. after a couple hours of sleep and my first thought roll over and go back to sleep.  After getting up and moving, I realized I did not expect much from the day.  After exposure to good information, which was well prepared I realized it was boring as there was no promise of life.  Information is good but there needs to be more.  We need life, that which is beyond information and is alive.
As I muddled along with my day I was overwhelmed with the following picture.  There were long lines of people, all different types marching from large ships to slave blocks to be sold, weighted down with iron collars and connecting chains.
Jesus has broken the yokes, those things that keep us in bondage marching in tune with slavery.  We’ve been set free.  No longer are we to be ruled by slavery and bondage of slavery.  We are to rise up in the power of His might and throw off all the chains and yokes.  We are free from the slavery of sin and can freely pursue the plans, purposes and destiny created for us to fulfill.  Even though we’re free, we walk as though we are not.  We are governed by our thoughts and expectations.  We do not expect much because we look to what is going on around us to gauge how we feel about our day.  We can know all types of information; have all the details but have no life.  Our life is in Him.  We are to look beyond what we see, what we feel and our expectations to what He says.  We are to choose to let our faith arise beyond our feelings.
For I know the plans and purposes I have for you, declares the Lord plans for your welfare and not for calamity to give you a future and a hope.  Then you will call upon Me and come and pray to Me and I will listen to you.  And you shall seek Me and find Me with all your heart.  And I will be found by you and I will restore your fortunes and from all the places where I have driven you, declares the Lord and I will bring you back to the place form where I sent you into exile.  Jeremiah 29:11
